The No Days Off organization is spearheaded by Teddrick Hardy, who believes that the COVID-19 pandemic has left a void in the community's collective spirit. "We're just trying to spark the light back into the communities," Hardy explains, determined to rekindle the sense of unity and support that once thrived.At the core of their efforts lies the annual Kickball games held at Riverside Park. "It provides young people with a chance," says adult volunteer Yuri Smith. "It's a chance to learn from older folks, to see them pouring back into them, but also give them something to do, to have fun in a safe environment."

"In today's generation, it seems like you have to leave your community for success and for positive experiences," Smith laments.
