Los Alamos Community Rallies to Ensure Warmth for Local Youth

As the seasons change and the chilly autumn winds begin to blow, the residents of Los Alamos are coming together to ensure that every young person in their community has the essential winter gear they need to stay warm and comfortable. Through the tireless efforts of the JJAB (Juvenile Justice Advisory Board), a local non-profit organization, winter clothing drives are being organized to provide coats, boots, gloves, and other cold-weather essentials to students across the Los Alamos Public Schools system.

Through their efforts, they have been able to provide 272 young people with essential winter gear since the program's inception in 2020.
