In a groundbreaking initiative to reduce landfill waste and promote eco-friendly composting, the City of Victorville is offering its residents a unique opportunity to receive a free kitchen food scrap container. Victorville residents can conveniently pick up their free kitchen food scrap containers at two designated locations: the Code Compliance counter on the first floor of City Hall and the Victorville City Library. The containers will also be distributed during the City's Concerts in the Park events at Hook Park on July 12 and 19, making it accessible for residents to claim their free containers.The containers are available for pickup at City Hall, located at 14343 Civic Dr., from Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents can also visit the Victorville City Library, situated at 15011 Circle Dr., to collect their containers during the library's operating hours of Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
