The Crescendos and The Thursdays, Chelmsford High's a capella groups, have achieved remarkable success, placing first and third, respectively, at the Varsity Vocals ICHSA Northeast Region Semifinal, with The Crescendos advancing to the ICHSA Final in New York.The district's commitment to music education extends beyond the high school level, with students from Center Elementary, Harrington Elementary, and Parker Middle schools participating in prestigious events such as the MMEA-Northeast District Treble Choir Festival and the MMEA All State Treble Choir Festival. Additionally, three Chelmsford High School students were selected for the MMEA All State Festival, and 36 students from Chelmsford High School and McCarthy Middle School were chosen to participate in the MMEA Northeast Junior District Festival.
