Aiken Tech's Annual Back-to-School Drive and Community Resource Fair

The 9th annual Back-to-School drive and community resource fair at Aiken Tech is set to take place on Saturday, with the event running from 9 a.m. to noon. This longstanding initiative provides an opportunity for families to access essential school supplies and connect with valuable community resources, all in one convenient location.

Edgefield County's Back-to-School Celebration

In Edgefield County, a back-to-school drive will be held at Bettis Academy Park in Trenton, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event promises to be a festive occasion, with refreshments and an ice cream truck on-site to add to the celebratory atmosphere.

The Hawk Law Group's Bookbag Bash in Augusta

The Hawk Law Group is hosting a bookbag bash at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, with the event taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This initiative aims to equip 1,000 students in the Augusta area with the school supplies they need to succeed. In addition to the distribution of essential items, the event will feature free family entertainment, including costume character meet-and-greets and bouncy house rides.

United Way of the CSRA's School Supply Collection Drives

The United Way of the CSRA is taking a multi-pronged approach to supporting students in the region. On Sunday, they will be hosting a drive at SRP Park from 4:05 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, they have scheduled two drives in Augusta on July 19th, with the first taking place from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. at ADP and the second from 8 a.m. to noon at the Kroc Center. On July 20th, they will also be collecting supplies at the Walmart in Waynesboro from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
